I had a lot of fun learning new cites that I can use in my research paper and further in my education. I learned a lot of information about social worker. Form my first source I fully understood the definition of social worker. "A social worker is a helping professional who is distinguished from other human service professionals by a focus on both the individual and his or her environment" (Fundukian and Wilson, 2008). To work in hospitals or nursing homes, a masters degree is required. Social worker profession has been around since 1889.
I really enjoyed Gale Virtual Reference Library, it had over 3000 search results. It was really easy to navigate. I also used google advance search for my assignment. I do not think it was as helpful as some of the other sources in the E-library. Now that I understated the meaning of social worker I want to learn more about their responsibilities. What is expected form them and how stressful the job can get.
