Week 5

Hi Everyone, 

At the beginning I was a bit confused of empirical research article, but as I started my reading I understood the concept behind it. This week I learned about history of social work. I found it interesting that social work is one of the newest careers, it all started in 1970s. With my research I learned that social worker is a responsible job but it is needed in our communities. I am still very comfortable with my research question, I am still interested to see if it is worth the time, effort and money to pursue a career in social work field. I did not look into reference page for more materials but I have few that I would love to visit. I am very happy that my research skills are developing so fast. Prior this class I could not locate a peer review article but now I have so many resources and I have the ability to find variety of articles really fast. Every week my research skills are getting better and better and I could not be happier.
